Windows and doors done perfectly
We were very happy with the work done and the men who did the work. They wasted no time and were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and we appreciated all the good service.
What a waste of time
So my fiancé and my experience started with Tim the sale guy, he was great made learning about windows easy and fun. Then we moved on to getting the windows put in, that went okay they put the windows in, but since our windows were complicated the “custom” window frame on the inside didn’t fit properly which during the sale pitch they said it would look great. However it didn’t so then we decided that window molding would probably look better. So we brought that up to the guys that were doing the windows. He called his boss and well since the paperwork was already drawn up we couldn’t change it. Fun right. Well now we have windows that don’t fit properly nor look good on the inside, from the outside they look great. But it doesn’t stop there. While they were putting in the windows they put a hole in one of our kitchen window screens. Which thank goodness my fiancé got the window installers number and he came and fixed it right away. A few weeks to by and now the same kitchen window that the screen had a hole in it doesn’t lock. My fiancé called and scheduled them to come look at it
"Far Exceeded My Expectations"
I asked Custom Built to design a frame for a large half-round stained glass window that I wanted over my front door. The finished product has far exceeded my expectations. The stained glass is sandwiched between clear glass panes. It has never rattled from vibrations. Over the course of this winter there has been no air infiltration and there is no condensation within the internal window cavity or inside the house. The price was excellent, much less then I expected. I congratulate Scott and his crew for a superior product. Anyone needing a custom window would be well advised to contact Custom Built first.

I feel compelled to write to you regarding the installation of two picture windows this past Monday, November 4th. I did have another picture window installed last year with another company and I was not impressed with the installers at all. Initially they were late and it went downhill from there. Your company sent Dan to repair my front door, secure the binding on a half circle window and install the picture windows. I was truly impressed with the professionalism he displayed. He was on time, he made sure the furniture and rugs were covered, the care he took in moving the furniture, drapes and sheers, and informed me of possible loud noises. He was by far the most considerate installer I have ever known. He did run into some problems with one of the windows, both windows were installed when the house was built in the 1950’s. He asked for assistance and was concerned about having the job completed on time. What an asset he is to your company; you are truly blessed to have someone represent you with such consideration for your customers and pride in his workmanship. That is a quality that seems truly rare

I just want you to know how very pleased I am with the new doors. The process of meeting with you, then Joe Silverman and finally the installation by John Bianca has been smooth and seamless. I am so impressed with John's work – going the extra mile and making sure every tiny detail is just perfect – is beyond professional. He walked me through the steps that he has taken to make sure the doors fit perfectly and explained that Ted would be installing the storm doors once John got the main doors installed.
